Understanding Psync's Privacy and Data Protection

At Psync, we take your privacy and data security seriously. Below is an overview of how we safeguard your user account information and manage data within our ecosystem.

Safeguarding Your User Account Information:

At Psync, the security of your account information is of utmost importance. To ensure the safety and integrity of your data, we leverage Amazon Web Services (AWS) for a range of operations, implementing advanced security measures to protect your account information.

How Video Is Stored:

The Psync Camera Genie S stores recorded video on an Embedded MultiMedia Card (eMMC). This eMMC is soldered to the main board and sealed within the camera's housing. In simpler terms, your video data is securely stored locally on a built-in, non-removable memory card with either a 32GB or 64GB capacity.

Video Storage Length:

The duration of video storage depends on memory capacity and camera configuration options. For specific details, please refer to our help topic.

Access to Stored Video:

Accessing locally stored video from the camera is only possible when you are logged into the Psync app. This access is exclusively granted to the primary user account and any other users who have been authorized for shared access by the primary user.

ViewSay™ Secure Cloud-Based Services:

When you enable ViewSay™ keyframes of locally stored video are uploaded to our cloud-based service for AI processing. After processing, the video is made accessible to you through the Psync app. To maintain the privacy and security of your data, Psync employs robust security measures based on the AWS security framework. Data transmissions are encrypted, and access permissions are stringently controlled to adhere to US data security regulations, ensuring the utmost protection of user privacy data.

Access to Live Streaming:

Live streaming is available by default to the primary account holder and to user accounts that have been granted shared camera access. Additionally, live streaming can be shared over the internet using the Co-watch feature. This feature allows the primary user to share time-based (up to 30 minutes), password-protected live streaming via a URL through a web browser.
